My name is Razvan-Mihai Irava and I am the creator of IRAVAutomate

I am an automation expert who focuses on improving client’s business processes. I work on automating manual tasks, integrating and better organizing data sources, and creating dashboards that enable businesses to take complete control of their data. I have worked with various technologies and frameworks and have a special interest in designing and building analytical solutions.

My Story

I started working with automation as young as 19 years old as a part-time job during my bachelor studies in Statistics at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania.

I was working as an IT Analyst and this allowed me to gain an important first real experience and a huge passion for VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), at this job I was creating financial Dashboards, Charts, customized Ribbons and different automation tools for the HR, Audit, Accounting and Taxes departments,

For my bachelor thesis I have created a custom Add-in copying the functionalities of the SPSS Statistics tool from IBM which allowed me to impress the University’s dean and teachers, grabbing a proud 10/10 grade.

After finishing my studies I decided to raise my level and move to much bigger companies on a full-time basis in diverse departments where I was creating report automation tools as well as reverse engineer, debug and maintain already built tools.

I continued developing myself by taking on a few separated projects and learning VBA for Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps & Power Automate), RPA and No-Code tools, which opened the door for me to face much bigger challenges abroad, in Central Europe (Czech Republic, Germany, Austria)

Some of the tools I built were connecting Microsoft applications between them (Word to Excel, Excel to Word, Excel to Outlook, etc.) or with external databases and they were being used in different departments, such as Tax & Immigration, Sales, Logistics, Payroll, Banking and Financial Markets.
